Exodus Realty Owner Celebrates 30 Years in the Industry

Exodus Realty Broker/Owner Andrea Dennett recently reached a milestone anniversary in the real estate industry. She’s been helping people find the perfect home for 30 years now.

“I enjoy it just as much today as when I first began,” said Dennett. “My favorite thing about the industry is the people!”

Dennett’s interest in real estate was first piqued as a little girl watching her mom establish a successful career in the industry. That interest eventually morphed into a full-fledged career of her own.

Now with three decades in the business, Dennett noted one of the biggest industry changes she’s seen has evolved in just the last few years.  “The introduction and use of social media has had a tremendous impact on the industry. So much has advanced with instant access,” she noted. “Clients now have typically completed all their research of a property they have interest in through online viewing. I love the options of virtual tours and video access.”

Four years ago Dennett decided to capitalize on her real estate experience and take a leap of faith by opening her own office.  “I knew in my soul this is what I was meant to do. The location, name of my office, the tag line and message are all from obediently stepping out in courageous faith,” she said. Exodus Realty opened in February of 2017 at 347 E. Washington St. in Greensburg.

Dennett’s office has quickly grown to include 9 agents. She prides herself on her team, who combine for over a century of experience. She is also very proud of what makes the Exodus office different from others.

“Our atmosphere is a team environment,” Dennett said.  From the realtor’s standpoint, Exodus provides the “leadership, knowledge and foundational steps for personal success, extending encouragement and direction to each team member,” she said. As for the clients? “We are people-focused. Our clients are not viewed as a transaction. We place people, and their needs, as a priority and consider it an honor to work with them to reach their goals.”
